"Trash has crashed.
The economic downturn has decimated the market for recycled materials like cardboard, plastic, newspaper and metals. Across the country, this junk is accumulating by the ton in the yards and warehouses of recycling contractors, which are unable to find buyers or are unwilling to sell at rock-bottom prices."

Just another reason the legacies of The Incredibly Rich and Irresponsible need to be challenged with all of our might.
The layers of crap unfolding should be reason enough for a new sustained way of living. We CAN NOT continue on this path of destruction by accumulating more and more junk waiting for the "price" of junk to rise. Time for serious changes in habits. Like drinking out of an actual coffee mug instead of a disposable one. Disposable does not mean convenient when it is disposed of and then left in a huge collection of junk wasting space in a warehouse waiting it's inevitable trip to the landfil where it will continue to take up space for longer than our lifetime.
